Natures Aid Hair, Skin & Nails is an advanced formulation, it includes: Vitamin C for normal collagen formation to support the normal function of the skin. Biotin for the maintenance of normal Hair and Skin. Zinc to support the maintenance of normal hair, skin and nails; Copper which helps with the maintenance of normal skin and hair pigmentation and Manganese for the normal formation of connective tissue. These nutrients are combined with Calcium, MSM, Aloe Vera, Kelp and Silica.

Silica is one of the foundational minerals our bodies’ need most. If you want your nails, skin, and hair to be healthy, turn to silica. It’s an essential beauty mineral that helps heal brittle bones, teeth, hair, and nails. It is also well known for its anti-aging, anti-wrinkle properties due to its ability to help form collagen and repair damaged or loose skin.

I started to take this supplement in Nov 2017, specifically for the Biotin. I had researched split nails online and Biotin came up as an important food supplement. As you will see from my blogs I got results pretty quickly when used in conjunction with Nailtiques Protein Formula 3, silk and cuticle oil. I believe in an inside and outside approach to health and beauty and I created this treatment combination to see if I could achieve the ‘impossible’ – healing splits in my nails due to matrix damage. I have fixed 3 nails with this method so far. My nails have never felt so strong and thick. I still get a little bit of peeling on some nail edges which I lightly buff to smooth, the remaining nail still feels strong and thick though, not thin and weak as before.

I would recommend this food supplement product for splits that appear on the free edge of the nail, alongside Nailtiques Protein Formula 3, silk and cuticle oil. I have one other nail where the split goes higher up, over the nail bed, which is proving tougher to heal. 6 months have passed (roughly the time it takes for the nail to form and grow down) and so, as of the beginning of May 2018, I have added in other supporting nutritional supplements to try to get this last nail to heal. If you have had acrylic or gel nail treatments removed and your nails look and feel weak, thin and in bad condition then this supplement will help feed the new nail forming in the matrix. Please also consider regularly using Nailtiques and cuticle oil to condition and improve the current nail. It will take between 3-6 months for finger nails to form and grow down.
