OPI Avoplex Cuticle oil was discontinued by the manufacturer in the summer of 2017. Pro Spa, nail cuticle oil replaces it.

Cuticle oil is the professional way to pamper hands and nails.

Regular daily application of oil to the cuticles, skin and nails on the hands and feet will mean it will be much easier to gently push the eponychium / proximal nail fold into shape and remove cuticle flakes from the nail (with an orange stick) during a manicure / pedicure treatment. This means the top of the nail area has a nice shape and the nail plate is clean to receive polish.

This cuticle oil product has a brush applicator, as does Nail Lux oil,  there are also dropper bottles in the range; Kaseo oil and Skintruth oil.

For best results gently massage 1 drop into each cuticle twice a day. Apply with the brush daily to nails and surrounding skin, massage in. The initial quantity on the brush will be enough for all 10 digits, no need to re-dip the brush. A cuticle / nail oil adds oil to the nail and the surrounding skin. The nail is slightly porous and will absorb small amounts of the oil. Oil keeps nails flexible, resilient and in good condition. The massaging action stimulates the local circulation, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the tissues, promoting health. It is just as beneficial to apply cuticle / nail oil to nails treated with gel polish, UV hard gel or acrylic as natural nails. Apply as frequently as your choose, bedtime or when watching TV are good times, when long time gaps between handwashes will be beneficial to the oils absorption.
