Serumology Squalane serum intensely hydrates, enriches and replenishes lost natural oils, resulting in youthful and energised skin and nails. If your nails have splits, or look dull, flake or peel Squalane serum could be the solution.

This product is a Facial quality Serum and is 100% plant based. It contains 1% Squalane. Squalene is a natural oil found in the skin and the nails, which gets washed off regularly and production diminishes with the ageing process. Frequent hand washing and increasing age leave behind dryness, dehydration and a lack of elasticity and flexibility in the skin and nails on our busy hands. By regularly applying the nearest equivalent to ‘Squalene’, ‘Squalane from Olives’ to our finger nails and hands we can replenish this vital oil and improve the look, feel and health of our hands and nails. Squalane can be used by itself or underneath other products from the lovely hands ranges for hand creams and nail oils and moisturisers. For interest the other natural oil found in the nails alongside Squalene is cholesterol, to replicate that we can turn to the almond oil that is in this product or any of the other natural oils found in the products in the nail oil and moisturiser category. Nail oils and moisturisers contain ingredients whose molecular size means that they can penetrate into the skin and nails to deliver the moisture and hydrating benefits. It is not the same to slather on any product and hope that it will penetrate, if the molecules are too big they will sit on the surface and then be rubbed or washed off, not really delivering any benefit.
