Your known allergies – The ingredients in the cosmetic products are clearly displayed on the website, on each product page under ‘ingredients’. The cuticle oils contain nut and seed oils.

Gloves made with latex are clearly labelled.

Glove measurements – industrial gloves offer you the chance to have a tailored fit and great dexterity, as opposed to a choice of just 2 sizes that flop about on your hands. There could be up to 8 sizes in a particular glove so please take the time to measure your hand, as per information supplied, to ensure you get the best fit for you first time. If in any doubt order the 2 nearest sizes so you can try them on at home. For returns please see the policy.

All the manufacturers conform to the EN 420 measurement guidelines; there could be some variance across gloves / manufacturers due to the flexibility of the materials used.


Returns & Refunds policy

We want you to be delighted with your purchases and therefore endeavour to display as much relevant information on the products as possible to minimise the need for you to return anything – here are the terms and process if you need to return anything.

Changed your mind.

up to 14 days After receiving your goods, in most cases, you can change your mind and get a full refund.

You have 14 days from the date you received the delivery (as per delivery log) to contact Lovely Hands by phone / email and then return the items if you have changed your mind. You will be asked to print off a ‘Cancellation of order form’ from the website, fill it in and enclose it with the returned items.

Changed your mind means that the goods have to be able to be resold – the merchandise must be in full resalable condition (all tags, cardboard header, plastic bags on the gloves and tamper evidence seals intact on cosmetics) when received back.

We cannot accept returned merchandise which has been used / damaged or where the tamper evidence seal is broken or removed. Please do not return items in this condition as if the returned items are not in resalable condition when inspected then no refund will be due.

The refund will only be for the value of the goods, not for the original outgoing postage. You will receive confirmation of the refund amount by email.

When cancelling an order the cost of return postage is the full responsibility of the customer.

Cancelling an order before it is posted – please contact Lovely Hands ASAP, a refund will be possible, less any packaging & postage charges that have been incurred.

Refunds will be via the same method you used to pay with.

Message from Paypal – We recently updated our User Agreement in selected markets to reflect changes to our refund policy. As of March, 5th 2020, these changes will go into effect globally.

In line with industry practice and according to our updated policy, we will not charge a fee to process refunds, however fees from the original transaction will not be returned. This policy will not apply to duplicate transactions or voids.

This means that if you request a refund lovely hands will refund you minus the paypal fee incurred. This is a small business and I have absorbed Paypal’s smaller fees since August 2017, the full transaction fee as a refund penalty has now increased so much that I cannot absorb it.

Square – credit / debit card processing.

Square do not refund the 2.5% transaction fee so this will be debited from the refund amount. I apologise for this.


Fault with product

up to 30 days If your goods are faulty, you can get a refund

You have 30 days (from and including the date you purchase) to reject an item for a full refund or replacement if there is a clear issue with any of the following;

Please be assured that every item is checked when it is packed to try to eliminate this happening at all.

Please contact Lovely Hands directly in the first instance and allow time to respond in stated working hours. It would be appreciated if direct contact is made, the issue you have is important to Lovely Hands and we would appreciate having a chance to respond and resolve the matter to your satisfaction.

Return instructions

  1. Returns instructions –
    1. Notify Lovely Hands via phone /email ASAP that you have detected an issue and specify what it is.
    2. Cancelling the order – please print off a ‘Cancellation of order form’ from the website, fill it in and enclose it with the returned items. When cancelling an order the cost of return postage is the full responsibility of the customer.
    3. Fault with the product – please state if you would like to receive a replacement /other goods to the same value or if you want a refund, enclose this information with the returned items. If the fault is upheld then Lovely Hands will refund your initial outbound postage (if applicable) and will do the same with the return postage if you can produce a receipt for the amount. This can be emailed.
    4. Ensure items are well wrapped and protected for the return journey (reuse original packaging where possible).
    5. We recommend you use a method of postage that enables the goods to be tracked and insured when returning anything to Lovely Hands. Royal Mail second class signed for is recommended and is the benchmark used. Proof of postage is not able to clarify if the item has been received and will not be sufficient evidence for a refund if the package does not arrive.
    6. On receiving the returned goods from a cancelled order, if the products are in full resalable condition then a refund will be issued less initial outbound postage costs. If Lovely Hands paid the postage then this amount will be deducted. If the goods are not in full resalable condition then they will be disposed of and an email confirming this will be sent. A refund will not be due.
    7. On receiving the returned goods from a Fault with product claim if it is agreed that there is a product fault then Lovely Hands will post back the next day (second class at their cost) a replacement /other goods to the same value as per our agreement.
    8. Refunds will be processed within 5 working days, and email confirmation sent. Refunds will be via the same method you used to pay with.
