UK Deliveries only on the website. Please email me if you live outside the UK as I can make alternative arrangements, clare@lovelyhands.co.uk

We use Royal Mail for deliveries due to the goods being insured and flat postage rates across the UK. Orders received before 2.30 pm Monday – Friday will go in that days post.

1st class – 1 day delivery aim

2nd class – 3 days delivery aim

Products ordered that fit into Poly or Jiffy bags should go through most letter boxes, it will only be boxed items, including the gift boxes that will not fit and will need someone to be in the receive them. For boxed items – please consider where you will be when the package is due to arrive and select the most convenient delivery address for you, home, work .

1st and 2nd class post – Lovely Hands will have a proof of posting and the package will be insured up to the value of £20.

Signed for 1st and 2nd class post will be the default used where the value of the package is between £20 – £50, for insurance purposes.

Packages with a value in excess of £50 will be posted free of charge and will have tracking.

If the carrier has recorded a failed delivery and the goods are returned to us as you failed to pick up the goods within the time limits set by the carrier, we will treat this as a cancelled order and we will make a charge not exceeding £5 for UK items to cover the costs we have incurred in sending your parcel (if applicable) and paying for the return. We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the carrier has failed to notify you of an attempted delivery. Please contact the carrier directly. We will inform you of the refund amount via email. If you require replacement goods please reorder by replying to the email.

 

Health & Safety and getting your order right first time.

Your known allergies – The ingredients in the cosmetic products are clearly displayed on the website, on each product page under ‘ingredients’. The cuticle oils contain nut and seed oils.

Gloves made with latex are clearly labelled.

Glove measurements – industrial gloves offer you the chance to have a tailored fit, as opposed to a choice of just 2 sizes that flop about on your hands. There could be up to 8 sizes in a particular glove so please take the time to measure your hand, as per information supplied, to ensure you get the best fit for you first time. If in any doubt order the 2 nearest sizes so you can try them on at home. For returns please see the policy below.

If buying as a gift please ask the recipient for their hand measurements before ordering.

All the manufacturers conform to the EN 420 measurement guidelines; there could be some variance across gloves / manufacturers due to the flexibility of the materials used.

Returns & Refunds policy.

We want you to be delighted with your purchases and therefore endeavour to display as much relevant information on the products as possible to minimise the need for you to return anything – here are the terms and process if you need to return anything.

  • Changed your mind.
up to 14 days After receiving your goods, in most cases, you can change your mind and get a full refund.

 

You have 14 days from the date you received the delivery (based on Royal Mail information in delivery section) to contact Lovely Hands by email and then return the items if you have changed your mind.

Changed your mind means that the goods have to be able to be resold – the merchandise must be in full resalable condition (all tags, cardboard header, plastic bags on the gloves and tamper evidence seals intact on cosmetics) when received back.

We cannot accept returned merchandise which has been used / damaged or where the tamper evidence seal is broken or removed. Please do not return items in this condition as if the returned items are not in resalable condition when inspected then no refund will be due.

You will receive confirmation by email.

When cancelling an order the cost of return postage is the full responsibility of the customer.

  • Fault with product
up to 30 days If your goods are faulty, you can get a refund.
up to 6 months

 

If it can’t be repaired or replaced, then you’re entitled to a full refund in most cases.

 

You have 30 days (from and including the date you purchase) to reject an item for a full refund or replacement if there is a clear issue with any of the following;

Satisfactory quality / Fit for purpose /As described

Please be assured that every item is checked when it is packed to try to eliminate this happening at all.

Please contact Lovely Hands directly in the first instance and allow time to respond in stated working hours. Please refrain from using the product review or social media to raise awareness of the issue you have until Lovely Hands has had a chance to respond and resolve the matter.

  • Fault with product

Alternatively, outside of 30 days if there is a clear issue with any of the following;

Satisfactory quality / Fit for purpose /As described

Then you need to give Lovely Hands one opportunity to repair or replace the item.

This expires 6 months after the date of purchase.

Please contact Lovely Hands directly in the first instance and allow time to respond in stated working hours. Please refrain from using the product review or social media to raise awareness of the issue you have until Lovely Hands has had a chance to respond and resolve the matter.

Return instructions for glove size changes and faults

  1. Notify Lovely Hands via email ASAP that you have an issue, specify what it is, for faults photos are helpful. Replying to the order receipt email is a good idea.
  2. Please state if you would like to receive a replacement / other goods to the same value or if you want a refund.
  3. Sometimes one of the suppliers I buy from, or the manufacturers, want to see the faulty item in person, in that situation we will make arrangements via email with each other*. Most of the time good photos via email will suffice.
  4. For glove size changes please ensure items are well wrapped and protected for the return journey (reuse original packaging where possible) and put a note in so I can reference you and the order number.
  5. Please use Royal Mail 2nd class signed for method of postage to ensure the goods are insured and tracked back to Lovely Hands. *Please gain a receipt for the £ amount and email to Lovely Hands if you want to claim the cost back (pre agreed faults only). Proof of postage is not able to clarify if the item has been received and will not be sufficient evidence for a refund if the package does not arrive.
  6. On receiving the returned goods, if it is agreed that there is a product fault then Lovely Hands will post back the next day (2nd class at their cost) a replacement  other goods to the same value or process a refund (including postage). *Your return postage costs – to claim this back please email a copy of the returns postage receipt for the £ amount to Lovely Hands (pre agreed faults only).
  7. If the returned goods are for a size change, then the returned goods will be checked to ensure they can be resold and when outgoing postage has been paid for (discussed on email) the replacement size gloves will be posted back.
  8. If a  refund is due, it will be processed within 5 working days, and email confirmation sent.
